- You, or that lawyer, ask BNG for a technical scope. The scope says which records will be reviewed.
- BNG reports what the ledger evidence supports and what it does not.
- The Swiss lawyer decides which legal steps, if any, are appropriate. BNG does not make that decision.
- Fees for the lawyer are agreed with the lawyer. BNG fees, if any, are agreed in the BNG engagement. They are different invoices.
If you prefer a premium or long-established Swiss firm, that preference is yours to satisfy when you select counsel. This website will not rank firms or imply a panel.
Notes for Swiss counsel instructing a technical firm
Counsel can define the questions the report should answer, such as which transactions are verified and which cross-chain links are only candidates. BNG will keep observations and hypotheses separate so counsel can use, or set aside, a hypothesis. The company does not co-sign legal submissions as counsel.
